Nieves NP is a national park in the state of Central Nieves, west of Nieves Valley. Considered the most beautiful of all national parks in New Shetland, it attracts a lot of visitors. The steep mountains of the park are covered with coniferous trees. There are many hot springs in the valleys, and volcanic activity is not uncommon. Also, the largest volcano of New Shetland, the Mount Lachlan, lies within the boundaries of the park.
