Downtown is a neighborhood of Port Philip. It is the heart of the town. The National Council is located in Downtown. Downtown is known for its National Council, the heart of the government of the Harvian Islands, and the many Secretaries. There are many hotels and cafes, as well as restaurants and museums.

History

Although Downtown is not the original growing core of Port Philip, it has been the city center for decades.

Economy

Downtown is famous for its Main Street shopping street, and the Midlane, the latter one being a concentration of libraries, museums and council buildings.
